The problem
A US silk brand selling almost entirely through Amazon, trying to build a business on its own Shopify store instead. Its ads were losing money. Facebook was costing around $140 per product sold, close to the price of the product, and the Shopify store was doing nothing.
The approach
Audit the account, then rebuild it. The old structure was not worth saving, so tracking, keyword grouping, audience segmentation and the campaign architecture were all reset around what the store actually sold.
The work
Campaign audit and restructure, conversion tracking audit, keyword research and grouping, audience segmentation, Google Merchant feed, ad copy and creative, performance monitoring and reporting.
The result
An average 6x return on ad spend per week, with cost per acquisition down from $90 to $28. The store went from $0 to averaging $1,000 in daily sales, 45% attributed to Google Ads, and keyword search visibility rose 15%.
